Diagnosis and Evaluation at D. Dental

A thorough initial oral examination involving charting, a visual examination, periodontal probing and x-ray evaluation is carried out for the accurate assessment and ultimate diagnosis of the dental problem and the level of damage caused by any disease. This evaluation is the foundation upon which the subsequent dental treatment is based.
Periodontal disease, also called Periodontitis, is a chronic degenerative disease of the gums and surrounding bone in the oral cavity. At D. Dental we provide all the prophylactic services for Periodontitis, such as Scaling and Root Planing, therapeutic drug injections, and gingival flap procedures to help prevent further bone loss surrounding the teeth.
